The Student Workbook is an integral part of the lessons. Students launch into the activities by identifying this they can do now, and things they'll be able to later. In the lessons that follow, students practice and apply responsible decision making, identifying and managing emotions, and effective communication.
Cooperative learning designs promote bonding through skits, role-plays, and games. Information and activities on the negative health effects of alcohol and tobacco use, as well as the safe use and handling of prescription medications, provide a reference during and after the completion of the course.
