Nutrition Education
Seeds of Nutrition - Grade 6
We are thrilled to announce Seeds of Nutrition for Grade 6, available now for implementation.
We believe the best way to prepare children and adolescents for success in life is to promote their self-efficacy and hope for the future to foment a priority for one’s own health. Seeds of Nutrition teaches sixth graders about the role of nutrients, hydration, exercise, and rest in healthy body function and their short and long-term health with the skills and strategies to make decisions aligned with their bright futures.
We’ve taken the same research-based constructs that have been effectively employed in our substance use and violence prevention programs for decades to an innovative approach to prevention based nutrition education to foster a committment within the students to their healthy futures with the skills to reach their potential.
