Online Resource Center FAQs

The Online Resource Center and eBook format Student Workbooks provide an enhanced in-class lesson delivery experience.  Teachers can easily locate and use a variety of visual aids and lesson resources or display images and videos on a classroom screen.  

Student interactions in the classroom using the eBook Student Workbooks supplement the hands-on, social engagement and practice constructs consistent with the programs' face-to-face social development design. 

We have assembled a few frequently asked questions to assist your implementation with these exciting new resources.

Accessing the Online Resource Center

Q: Which of the Too Good programs have content in the Online Resources Center?

A: The 2021 Editions of the Too Good programs in High School will be the first to offer lesson resources in the Online Resource Center.

Additional grade levels of both Too Good for Drugs and TGFV - A Peaceable Place/Social Perspectives will offer Lesson Resources in the Online Resources Center as they are updated.

Q: When should I log in to the Online Resource Center?
A: Log in to the Online Resource Center to familiarize yourself with the portal and the online resources before you begin lesson delivery. 
Q: How do I reset my password?  
A: Click  "Forgot Password." Enter your username or email address and click Submit. You will receive an email with instructions for setting a new password. 
Q: Can I purchase additional licenses for staff to access the Lesson Delivery Materials?

A: The 2021 Editions of TGFD, TGFV - Social Perspectives, and TGFDV High School curriculum kits include two licenses to be used by the lesson facilitators or program evaluator. 

Additional licenses can be purchased individually.

Q: How long will I be able to access the Teacher Resources?
A: A license to access Teacher Resources will be active for five years from the initial license Activation or log in. 
Q: What if my teaching staff changes? 
A: Non-Student licenses are transferrable within the original license duration.
Q: Where can I find videos, visual displays, and student handouts?
A: Lesson Delivery Resources and Evaluation Instruments are available on the Too Good Online Resource Center. Navigate to portal.toogoodprograms.org, log in to your account and click on a content thumbnail in the "Library" Section on the left-hand panel to launch content.
Q: How do I access content in the Too Good Online Resources Center?

A. Navigate to portal.toogoodprograms.org. From there:

  • Log in to your account. 
  • Open your Library from the left-hand panel.
  • In your Library, click the item thumbnail.
Q: I need to deliver lessons, but I don't have access to the Too Good Online Resource Center. How can I create an account?
A: Contact your program administrator to request access to the Online Resource Center. 
Q: I did not receive an email with my log in information. How can I get my log in information? 

A: Contact your program administrator to verify that a license has been assigned to you.

Email us if you are unable to log in with the credentials your administrator provides. 

Q: What does my license to the Online resource Portal include?

A: The Online Resource Center includes access to:

  • Family Letters
  • Activity Instructions
  • Bring it Home Newsletters
  • Lesson Extenders
  • Answer Keys
  • Display Cards
  • Lesson Handouts
  • Evaluation Instruments
  • Multimedia Content

Lesson Resources vary between program and grade level.

Q: Am I allowed to share my username and password with my colleague?
A: It is not permitted to share user licenses. User licenses are for one person to use to access content. Additional licenses can be purchased. Email us to learn more about additional licenses and to purchase.
Q: Do you support Clever, ClassLink, or Google Classroom? 
A: Support for Single Sign On and Rostering integrations will be available later in the calendar year. Email us or call 800-750-0986 to learn more. 

Using the Lesson Resources in the Online Portal

Q: How can I find the lesson delivery resources I need? 
A: Each lesson is tabbed and easy-to-navigate so you cab locate the resources for each lesson. Click on the lesson you are planning to deliver and the select the resource you wish to view. 
Q: Where is the Table of Contents?
A: Click on the three lines in the upper left-hand corner to access the lesson TOC. 
Q: How do I open a file in Lesson Resources? 
A: Click the blue "Open File" button to open an item. 
Q: Can I add notes to my lesson resources?
A: Click on the "Add Note" icon on the top right of the page. Click anywhere on the page to add a note. Add a note and click save. A note icon will be created on the page. You can drag and navigate this icon on the page. View notes by clicking on the "Notes" icon on the left menu. You can sort your notes by date and page number. 

 Using the eBook Format Student Workbooks

Q: How do I save my work in the eBook Format Student Workbooks?
A: Save your work by clicking on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. Clicking on the "Reset" icon will erase work on the page.
Q: How do I turn the page in the eBook format Student Workbook? 
A: Use the Next and Previous buttons on the left and right side of the page to turn the page. 
Q: How do I navigate to a specific page in the eBook format Student Workbooks? 
A: Go to the "Page Icon" at the center top of the page. Click on the existing page number and enter the page number you'd like to navigate to on the "Go to Page" box. 
Q: Can I zoom in and out? 

A: Zoom in and zoom out of an eBook using this feature.

1. Click on the "Zoom In" icon to increase the size of a page. The maximum zoom-in size is 600%. The icon will fade at the maximum size.

2. Click the "Zoom Out" icon to decrease the size of the page. The maximum zoom-out size is 100%. The icon will fade at the minimum size.

Q: Can I search for a specific topic or work in the content? 
A: Select the "Search" icon to search for a specific word or phrase in the book. Type the word you would like to find in the text field. 
Q: How do I highlight text? 
A: Select the text you want to highlight. Click on the Highlighter icon on the top right of the page. Click save to highlight the selected text. View your highlights by clicking on the highlight option on the left panel. Sort the text you have highlighted by date entered or by page number.
Q: How do the Drawing Tools work?

 A: Click on the Drawing Tool icon to select different drawing tool options-  pen, highlighter, or eraser. 

  • Pen - Scribble freehand or take notes using the pen.  
  • Eraser- Erase a drawing on the page. 

General Troubleshooting

If your content appears out of date, try clearing the browser cache. 

Click on the browser you are using at the top left of the screen. Select "Clear Browsing Data" from the dropdown menu. 

If you are experiencing missing functionality, check to make sure you are using a supported device, operating system, and browser.
